| Set
in the pretty village of Christchurch THE OLD RECTORY is just two
minutes from junction 24 of the M4 and two minutes from the historic
town of Caerleon. The ideal location for business or leisure visitors.
The Old Rectory offers 5 STAR accommodation as awarded by the Visit Wales Star Grading Scheme and has recently received their prestigious Gold Award for 2010 - 2011. There is one double bedroom with quality
en suite facilities and another double with a superb private bathroom.
Both include a Matki shower and a luxurious roll top bath. Each
room has a Sony flat screen television with Freeview and free
wireless internet connection. All bedrooms have fine views of
the Bristol Channel.
We
have a guest lounge on the ground floor overlooking the garden,
ideal for reading or just relaxing. For the musically minded there
is a Bose Wave CD/Radio and also a beautiful upright piano just
waiting to be played.
In
the interest of guests' comfort and safety we operate a no smoking
policy throughout the house.
Calling
all golfers! We are ideally situated if you are visiting the Celtic
Manor Resort, host to the 2010 Ryder Cup. If you are coming to
play the venue's international golf courses we have a boot room
to store your precious (and perhaps muddy) golf equipment.
The
historic town of Caerleon with its Roman Ampitheatre, Baths and
Museum is just two minutes away, the beautiful Wye Valley is a
twenty minute drive and we are just twelve miles from Cardiff
and the Millennium Stadium.
There
is a wide range of restaurants nearby catering for all tastes
and we have an excellent pub in the village just yards from our
door, serving good 'pub grub'. THE
OLD RECTORY, with it's semi circular driveway, has ample guest
parking. We will do our very best to make your stay with us a
memorable one. We look forward to hearing from you. |
